Jason Desnoyers
Jason Desnoyers was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. Jason’s interest in the ceramic arts began while attending Concordia University, and later earned his BFA in ceramics at NSCAD University in 2013. After completing 2 years of ceramic residencies, Jason has recently moved to the Ottawa-Gatineau to focus on his professional practice in Ceramics.
In relation to his work, Jason relays this message – My work is created with the intention to bring across the “new”. I want to engage the perpetual thought in me that is on repeat, the thought of “you can make it better, more personal, and rebel against the similar”. My perception is always drawn to the different, so my goal is that. I aim for difference.
