We were delighted to do custom work for Bridgehead, Ottawa's favorite coffee shop. Bridgehead is famous for its delicious coffee, friendly service as well as for their fair trade practices. We were commissioned to design two vessels for Bridgehead, a 12oz mug and an 8oz cup.
The mugs and cups are inspired by the tea bowl form and are glazed in neutral tones so as not to distract from the liquid they contain. Each item has Bridgehead's fair trade branding on the inside which appears bit by bit as the customer is drinking, as well as the Bridgehead logo embossed at the bottom.
A few special editions of the mugs and cups were also made with an additional image of a coffee tamper on the inside.
