SuzyQ is Ottawa’s favourite gourmet doughnut cafe. We made plates, bowls and cups to give a warm and cozy frame to the colourful and delicious doughnuts and full-flavored coffee. The dishes are glazed with a semi translucent white glaze. The variation in colour comes from coloured slip applied at the leather hard stage. The donut plate and the bowls are designed to create stripes of soft coloured bands when stacked. For this commission we used a custom logo stamp to brand each piece.
