As the days grow shorter and the evenings settle in a little earlier, we’re leaning into simple rituals that bring light into our homes.
In this two-hour handbuilding workshop, you’ll create a ceramic wall-mounted candle holder designed — a quiet glow for dark mornings, long evenings, and slow winter moments. Functional and sculptural, these pieces are meant to live on your wall and be lit often.
You’ll be guided through building and shaping your form, exploring surface texture and pattern, and choosing from two distinct styles (see photos for inspiration). Whether you’re drawn to something more structured or something softer and organic, each piece will carry its own character — no two will be the same.
This is a relaxed, cozy workshop focused on making with intention, embracing imperfection, and creating something that brings warmth into your space.
This workshop is open for all levels of experience including complete beginners. Youth aged 15+ are welcome. Maximum enrolment is 8.
