Refund Policy

Before you book — here’s how we handle cancellations and changes.

We know life happens, and sometimes plans need to shift. Our goal is to balance flexibility with fairness, keeping classes running smoothly for everyone while supporting the time and care our instructors put into each session.

6 Week Courses, Workshops, and Date Night on the Wheel

Registrations for 6-week courses, workshops, and date night sessions are eligible for a refund if the cancellation is made at least two weeks prior to the scheduled start date. In these cases.

Cancellations made within two weeks of the class start date are non-refundable and non-transferable to another date. However, participants are welcome to send someone else in their place.

If a participant cancels within two weeks and we are able to fill their spot from a waitlist or through public registration, we will issue a LOAM Clay Studio gift card in the amount paid, minus a 10% administrative fee.

Once a class has taken place or has begun, no refunds or credits are available.

Multi-Week Courses Seven Weeks or Longer

Withdrawals from seven-week or longer courses are eligible for a refund minus a 5% administrative fee if the cancellation is made at least four weeks before the course start date.

If a withdrawal is requested within four weeks of the start date, the course fee becomes non-refundable. In these cases, we will make every effort to fill the vacated space. If the space is successfully filled, a LOAM Clay Studio gift card will be issued for the course fee paid, minus a 10% administrative fee. If the space cannot be filled, no refund or credit will be issued.

Once a multi-week course has begun, no refunds or credits are available.

Missed Classes Within a Session

We are not able to offer make-up classes for missed dates within a multi-week session. Our classes are consistently full and each instructor carefully structures lessons to group skill development week-to-week, rescheduling individual students can be disruptive to the group and difficult to accommodate from a backend and with our limited space.

That said, your instructor will always help you keep your work on track or work with you to give you adequate time to work on your pieces in the following classes. Our goal is for you to feel supported and to leave the session with pieces you’re proud of.

Private Lessons

Private lessons cancelled with at least two weeks’ notice are eligible for a refund minus a 5% administrative fee. If cancelled within two weeks, the session fee is non-refundable, but the appointment may be rescheduled for a future date subject to availability.

Tools, Clay, and Pottery Supplies

Tools, clay, and pottery supplies may be returned for a refund if the items are unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition in which they were received. A 5% administrative fee applies to all online refund transactions.

Finished Pottery

All sales of finished pottery are final. No refunds or exchanges are available for these items.
