An Honours Degree in Fine Arts from McMaster University led to a 2 year apprenticeship with Helen Brink, which led to potting and teaching in Southern Ontario and Ottawa since 1972. Carolynne enjoys using antique ceramic materials with modern ones, and trying to control the outcome. She delights in the mistakes that lead to new avenues of investigation.
