Early-Winter 2026 Beginner+ Bridget's Kitchen

Welcome back to the wheel!  this time with a twist. Bridget’s Kitchen is a six-week course designed for students who already have a bit of clay experience and are ready to take on slightly more complex functional forms. You’ll be making beautiful, useful pieces for your kitchen while refining your throwing and glazing skills.

This class is ideal for anyone who has completed at least one beginner wheel class and wants to feel more confident shaping and finishing their work.

What You’ll Learn

  • How to throw and refine small to medium-sized functional forms
  • How to control thickness and form consistency
  • Practical glazing and surface decoration methods for food-safe pottery
  • Techniques for making kitchen pieces such as:
    • Garlic grater dishes
    • Citrus juicers
    • Salad dressing bowls
    • Spoon rests
    • Small utensil holders

Good to Know     

  • You can expect to make 3-6 pieces in this class. 
  • Our classes are intended for adults and youth aged 15+.
  • All materials and tools are provided.
  • Dress for mess or please bring your own apron.
