Experience hand building and wheel work in one class. In this class you will be introduced to the fundamentals of throwing on the wheel and a variety of handbuilding techniques to make whimsical or functional vessels. Some decorative techniques will be introduced and basic and effective glazing will be taught at the end of the session. This class is intended for complete beginners and for those with a bit experience. Students are encouraged to work at their own pace.
Our classes are intended for adults and youth aged 15+.
Please note that all materials and tools will be provided. We do not provide aprons, so please, bring one or dress in clothes you won't mind getting dirty. We also recommend that you bring a small towel for your hands.
The class duration is 2.5 hour, clean up is included in this time.
