We’ll show you how to make a customised serving plate using red stoneware and soft slabs that are gently pushed, folded and shaped over foam pillows. This simple technique allows the clay to respond to your gestures—forming dips, ridges and hollows that are perfect for cradling your favourite treats. We’ll add a little pinch pot dip bowl and, time permitting, explore subtle stamping or carving details for added character.

All of those expressive contours are preserved once the piece is fired, creating a custom layout for olives, cheeses, crackers, or anything you love to serve. The best part? You’ll be able to plate up casual snacks and festive spreads like a seasoned chef.
