We're pleased to offer this 2 day kokedama centrepiece workshop just in time for the holidays!
Day 1 (3 hrs): This handbuilding workshop uses slump moulds, soft slabs and LOAM-made templates as a springboard for you to create your kokedama display dish or centrepiece. Choose from a wide array of textures, stamps and rollers to add textures and carved patterns, and learn how to craft hollow sculptural elements that can be added to your centrepiece if time allows. Your finished work will be glazed in a colour of your choice and fired for you, ready for Day 2.
Day 2 (1 hr): Horticulturist and ceramic artist, Cynthia Poulin, leads you in flexing your green thumb with the kokedama build portion of this unique workshop! Design your kokedama ball with a staghorn fern, moss and twine, set it in your handmade dish, and be ready to gift yourself or a loved one with a stunning centrepiece for your holiday table.
Suitable for complete beginners! Ages 15 and up. All materials and tools included.
