Come to LOAM Clay Studio and make a one-of-a-kind teapot for a memorable Mother’s Day gift this year.
During the course of this afternoon workshop, you will learn how to make all the components necessary to create a fun, funky and functional teapot form. We’ll show you the ins and outs of handles and spouts, and teach you to make lids, bodies and feet that all work together to make a tearrific teapot full of character.
Various methods of surface decoration will be discussed, and simple sculptural techniques will be demonstrated so that you can put your own spin on the teapot templates that we’ve created for you.
Your teapot will be glazed & fired for you and will be ready to be picked up 3-4 weeks after the workshop.
This workshop is open for all levels of experience, including complete beginners. Children aged 12 and up are welcome.
