This is a six week introductory course working with clay on the potter’s wheel for students with no or little clay experience.  This course focuses on basic skills such as wedging, centering, throwing simple forms, trimming as well as simple and effective glazing techniques. You can expect to make 3-6 pieces in this class.

We recommend taking the beginner class at least three times before moving on to the Wheel 2 class. Our classes are intended for adults and youth aged 15+.

Please note that all materials and tools will be provided. We do not provide aprons, so please, bring one or dress in clothes you won't mind getting dirty. We also recommend that you bring a small towel for your hands.

The class duration is 2.5 hour, clean up is included in this time.

We offer multiple schedule options.  Choose the one you wish to register for from the scroll down menu.

If you are registering more than one person in the class please send us an emailwith the full names and email addresses of each student being registered. Thank you.

If the class you were hoping to sign up for is full, you can always put your name on the waitlist and we will get back to you if a spot opens up.
